Guitar Metronome Tuner Tone Generator - Cherub WMT-555C

A combined digital metronome and chromatic tuner with in built tone generator by Cherub. Housed in a compact card-style handheld device.

The WMT-555C model features multiple options for tuning. A 6.3 mm (1/4 Inch) jack input socket allows you to connect your electric (or electro-acoustic) instrument directly into the device, for accurate tuning even in noisy environments. There is an inbuilt microphone for fast tuning of acoustic instruments. Plus the option to plug in a dedicated microphone (included) that clips right on to acoustic instruments for more precise tuning - ideal for tuning in environments where there is a lot of background noise.

In tuner mode, the internal microphone or input jack (direct from the instrument or using the supplied clip pickup) can accurately detect the played note and shows the tuning accuracy with a virtual needle, reinforced by LED indicators. A number of tuning modes are available with a wide pitch range and variable reference frequency. 

Metronome tempo clicks and tone (pitch) are produced either via a built-in speaker or through the headphone output jack. In metronome mode, the LCD display shows a virtual pendulum with multiple time signatures and beat type options through a wide range of tempo settings.

Use of the earpiece (supplied) allows the user to hear the metronome tempo clicks without them being heard by anyone else. This feature is ideal for practice sessions or even on stage.

Pitch mode plays the chosen tone through the speaker or headphones for tuning by ear.

This device also comes complete with an inbuilt stand, allowing you see the screen more easily when using it on a worksurface - a feature often found only on high end models. The benefits of this simple addition can not be underestimated.
